Branding Strategy

Following careful assessment of the various brands that constitute the Interventional Medical business of TE Connectivity we have decided on the following brand strategy:

  • Creganna Medical will become the lead brand for TE Connectivity’s Interventional Medical business
  • The Creganna Medical brand will be linked to TE Connectivity through the use of the term “is part of”
  • Former AdvancedCath sites will adopt the Creganna Medical brand to further enhance the leadership position of the company in the minimally invasive medical devices market
  • The San Jose, CA site of AdvancedCath will identify under the Creganna Medical brand as the Advanced Development Group and, in certain touchpoints, will append the AdvancedCath name to signify technical competencies particular to that team

This strategy is designed to enhance our overall value proposition in the market. Recognizing the combined strengths of all teams that constitute our Interventional business activities, the strategy brings consistency that will build on our current leading market position while having the flexibility to reflect the various individual strengths of who we are. I am confident that this approach will resonate positively with our customers and build a brand platform to enable future growth.

Your Role

The strength of our brand is in the hands of our people and you have a role to play in that success.

Part of building and reinforcing the brand requires that we change all our customer interaction points to the new brand, for example, how we answer the phone, respond to emails or present company documentation.

How to implement the brand

To assist you in the implementation process, we have created this dedicated branding microsite. It contains all the information, tools and documents you require to apply the brand in your day-to-day work. Please take adequate time to read through this site and follow the guidelines provided.

Implementation of the new brand in your day-to-day work should commence on 30th November 2016.

To support the rebranding process, we have appointed dedicated brand ambassadors at every site. Further questions relating to the brand implementation can be directed to your local ambassador.
